Empowering parents and providing powerful solutions to families with loved ones on the autism spectrum.
Embrace Autism is a non-profit organisation founded by a group of dedicated parents and volunteers working together to help and empower families with loved ones on the autism spectrum. Our volunteers are guided by the principles of The Son-Rise Program®, a home-based play therapy created by the Autism Treatment Center of America®.
We are committed to bringing The Son-Rise Program® training courses and support services to families in Southeast Asia.
As parents of children on the autism spectrum, we fully understand and have first-hand experience of being on this autism journey. After having explored multiple different therapy options available with little success, we discovered this amazingly loving, incredibly effective play therapy that has really helped our children make great leaps in their progress!
We all travelled to The Autism Treatment Center of America® in Sheffield, Massachusetts to attend the parent-training courses held there, and learnt so many useful techniques that we were able to use to help our children immediately. We have all seen such significant improvements in our children’s social interaction, communication and even self-help skills which were previously unimaginable, and so feel compelled to share this gift with other parents in Singapore and the surrounding regions.
We have since brought the foundational and advanced courses in The Son-Rise Program® to Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines and Vietnam.
We believe that together, we can build a more loving, supportive, empowered autism community, that can truly change lives for the better.
